Hi,

Below are my workouts for Q2 & Q3

Q2. Every set of 20 items delivered consists of
(16 delivered on time = 16 * 8.5) + (4 late delivery= 4 * 6.2) = 160.8

So for 4570.4 money, there will be 28 sets delivered (28 * 16 + 28 * 4)

remaining money is 4570.4 - 4502.4 (28 * 160.8) = 68

remaning 68/8.5 = 8 items delivered on time

Ans for (a) total items delivered on time = 28 * 16 + 8 = 456

total items delivered late = 28 * 4 = 112

Ans for (b) 112 * (8.5 - 6.2) = 257.6
===========================================================
Q3. 2kg Floor + 5kg Rice = 5kg floor + 2 kg Rice + 9.3

3 kg of rice = 3kg fl + 9.3

Each Kg of rice = 1kg floor + 3.1

Jane has enough money to buy 2kg of fl & 5 kg of rice but she bought instead 7 kg of fl leaving her with additional money of \$15.5 (additional cost of rice to floor 5 * 3.1)
if each lollipops costs \$0.62, then for \$15.5, she will get 25 lollipops.

==========================================
hope it helps.

Using @ as area
@vzw can be derived by the following:

@uvw - @uvz
or
@wvy - @wyz

@wyz = @uvz + 3402
@wvy = 1/2x108x144 = 7776

equating the two

@uvw - @uvz = @wvy - @wyz
@uvw - @uvz = 7776 - (@uvz + 3402)
@uvw = 4373
uv = 4374 x 2 / 108 = 81

(1) @uvwx = 81 x 108 = 8748 cm2

(2) xy = 144 - 81 = 63cm

Hope this helps
