1) Muthu has some stamps. He gives half of what he has to Nigel. As a result, Nigel has thrice as many stamps as before. Then, Nigel gives half of his stamps to Owen. As a result, Owen has 7 times as many stamps as before.
a) If Nigel has 162 stamps in the end, how many stamps does Owen have at first?
b) How many stamps do the 3 boys have altogether?

162/6=27, Owen has 27 at first.
324/3=108 Nigel has 108 at first
108*4=432 Muthu has 432 at first
27+108+432=567 Total
