any ideas about this math question?

3 notebooks and 2 pens cost $19
4 notebooks and 3 pens cost $26
a) find the cost of a notebook
b) If Siti has only $30 to buy 3 notebooks and some pens, what is the maximum number of pens she buy?

3 notebooks + 2 pens = $19
4 notebooks + 3 pens = $26
---------------------------------------
9 notebooks + 6 pens = $57
8 notebooks + 6 pens = $52
---------------------------------------
1 notebook = $5

a) A notebook costs $5.

3 notebooks = $15
2 pens = $19 - $15
= $4
1 pen = $2
$30 - $15 = $15
$15 / 2 = 7 Remainder 1

b) The maximum number of pens is 7.
