Hi,

Is there anyone who can help me solve?

Bill and Carl had a total of 252 stickers. After Bill gave away 4/9 of his stickers and
Carl gave 60 stickers away, the ratio of the number of stickers Bill had left to that which Carl had left became 1 : 3.
What was the ratio of the number of stickers Bill had to that of Carl at first?

Thank you!

1u - 5/9
3u -15/9
5/9+4/9+15/9=24/9
24/9 -- 192
1/9 -- 8
9/9 --72
252-72=180
B:C= 72:180=2:5
