Suppose all 50 are \$10 shirts.

10 x 50 = 500
500 - 436 = 64 (diff)
10 - 8 = 2 (diff btw 1 \$10 shirt and 1 \$8 shirt)
64/2= 32

Ans: 32 \$8 shirts.

Check:
32 x 8 = 256
18 x 10 = 180
256 + 180 = 436,
Thus ans is correct.
