Please help to solve this!
Varsha had some 20cents & 50cents coins. 7/8 of the coins were 20cent coins & the rest were 50cents.
After Varsha had spent $72.50 worth of 50cent coins and 5/7 of the 20cent coins, she had 2/7 of the coins left.
Find the total amount of money Varsha left.
The answer is $110.20

Following pls find the worked solution:
<Before>
20cts: 7p
50cts: 1p
Total: 8p of coins.
<Process>
$72.50 (of 50cts) and 5/7 of 20cts spent.
72.50 / 0.50 = 145 (50cts) spent.
Given that 2/7 of the total coins were left and initial total coins is 8p, we split 1p of these into 7 equal units (u); hence, giving (8 x 7) = 56u (initial total.
So we have ...
<Before>
20cts: 49u
50cts: 7u
<Process>
2/7 of 20cts coins left = (2/7) x 49 = 14u.
2/7 of total coins left = (2/7) x 56 = 16u.
Therefore, 50cts coins left = 16u  14u = 2u
<After>
20cts: 14u
50cts: 2u
Knowing that 145 (50cts) coins were spent, we have ...
5u > 145
1u > 29
20cts: 14u > 14 x 29 = 406
Amt (20cts): 406 x 0.20 = $81.20
50cts: 2u > 2 x 29 = 58
Amt (50cts): 58 x 0.50 = $29
Total amt left = $81.20 + $29 = $110.20
