Hannah had 50 stamps. Her brother ,Steve , had 160 stamps more than she.
After receiving an equal number of stamps from Aunt Sara , Hannah has 1/3 as
many stamps as Steve. How many stamps did Aunt Sara give each of them?

Since they receive an equal number of stamps from Aunt Sara, this means that the difference before and after must remains unchanged.

Difference before----160

Diff now----2u

So, 2u---160
1u---80 (hannah now)

80 - 50 = 30

Ans: 30 stamps
