Hi everyone! I am stuck with this math question. May you help me?

A pair of jeans cost 6 times as much as a T-shirt. Wei Ling spent 3/8 of his money on some T-shirts and 1/5 of his remaining money on 3 pairs of jeans. If each T-shirt cost \$8, how many did Wei Ling spend on the T-shirts?

T-shirt ---> \$8
Jean------> \$8 x 6 = \$48

Spent 3/8 on T-shirts ( 15/40)
Remainder--->1 - 3/8 = 5/8

Spent 1/5 of remainder on jeans --> 1/5 x 5/8 = 5/40
Left-------------> 1 - ( 15/40 + 5/40) = 20/40

Since she spent what's left on 3 Jeans, therefore

3 jeans -----> 48 x 3 = 144
20 units ---->144
1 unit -------->144/20
15 units ----> 144/20 x 15 = 108 t-shirts
