Mabel and Nancy took 24hours to finish a consignment
Of garments if they worked together. First, Mabel
And Nancy worked together for 12 hours. After.
That Mabel worked alone for 4 hours and sfound that 2/5
Of the consignment was not done. If Mabel could
Complete 3 garments more than Nancy in one hour, how
Many garments were there altogether in the consignment?

I think the qn shd read:

Mabel and Nancy took 24hours to finish a consignment
of garments if they worked together. On the other hand, if Mabel
and Nancy worked together for 12 hours, after that,
Mabel worked alone for 4 hours, she will find that 2/5
Of the consignment was not done. If Mabel could
Complete 3 garments more than Nancy in one hour, how
Many garments were there altogether in the consignment?

In 1 hour, no. of garment Nancy complete -> 1 unit
Mabel -> 1 unit + 3

1 consignment -> 24(2 U + 3) = 48U + 72

2nd scenario ,
12(2U + 3) + 4(1U + 3) = 3/5 (48U + 72)
5(24U+36+4U+12) = 3(48U+72)
...
1U=6
1 consignment -> 48U + 72 = (48 x 6) + 72 = 360
There were 360 garments in one consignment.
