Hi Sundar,

May I know Q6 comes from which school paper? And also wondering what the actual diagram looks like. Based on what can be observed, isnt the answer pretty obvious? And do you also have the Answerkey for that?

Following pls find my worked solution for your Q15:

Q15

D1 - 319 tiles
D2-8: Equal tiling
From D5-8: (7/15) hall is incomplete.
Given equal tiles were used from D5-8, we have ...

4u --> (7/15) hall
1u --> (7/15) รท 4 = (7/60)

D2-8: 7u --> 7 x (7/60) = (49/60)

So in D1, we have ...

(60/60) - (49/60) = (11/60) hall was completed.

We have ...

(11/60) --> 319
(60/60) --> 319 x (60/11) = 1740

========================

Trust this helps.

Do let me know again if there 's further clarification.

Cheers,
Edward
