Pls assist
1) Last year, the ratio of the number of female members to the number of male members in a club was 8 : 5.
This year, 48 female members joined the club.
As a result, the ratio became 8 : 3. How many members were there in the club last year?
2) A sum of $920 is to be devided among a number of adults and children. Each adult receives $boy receive $5
and each girl receives $4. Given that the ratio of adults to boys to girls is 3 : 4 :2, how many more boys than girls are there?
Thanks

Q1
Since the males remained the same, change units for male to the same number.
Last year,
8 x 5 : 3 x 5
40 : 15
This year,
8 x 3 : 5 x 3
24 : 15
Difference in female, will be
(40 24)units > 48
16 units > 48
1 unit > 48 รท 16 = 3
Last year > (24 + 15)units x 3 = 117members
Q2
I believe the amount each adult gets is missing. Need that info to solve.
