Hello! I have a question to ask you.

If there is a gap XY in a circuit, which of the following could be used to join X and Y so that bulb R will light up?

A A magnet
B A plastic spoon
C Another battery with its positive end at X
D A bulb with both X and Y connecting to its metal casing

(1) A and C only (2) B and C only
(3) A, C and D only (4) A, B, C and D

I think the answer should be (3) A,C&D.
Reasons : (A)Magnet is usually made of magnetic material like cobalt, nickel, steel or iron which are also conductor of electricity. (C) Battery, when connected correctly will allow electric current to flow and will provide more electricity to the bulb. (D) since the bulb casing is made of metal, electric current will be able to flow from X to Y when both ends are connected to it. Hope this helps.
