Hi . I need help with this question . I have totally NO idea how to do this . The answer key shows that its option 4 , but how do you work it out ?

A bag can hold 12 markers or 15 pens . If there are already 4 markers and 5 pens , how many more markers can be put in the bag ?

Thanks a lot ! Tomorrow is my Maths exam >< .

Hi,

M : P
12 : 15
4 : 5

4 markers -> 5 pens
thus, 2 sets of 4 (equivalent) markers are in the bag now. Another set of markers can be put ie 4.

Hope this help.
