Qn 30
Mrs Koh bought a number of books for \$135. If she was given a discount of 20%, she would be able to buy 3 more books with the same amount of money saved. What was the discounted price of each book.

Qn 15

Henry has some 10cent coins, 20cent coins and 50cent coins. The ratio of the number of 10cent coins to the number of 20cent coins is 7:2. The total value of the 10cent coins is \$16 more than the total value of 50cent coins. How much does Henry have altogether?

hey Phoenix

With regards to Paper 2 Q15, the solution was posted earlier. (Refer to post by JezebelTan last updated 22/10)

Following pls find worked solution for Paper 1 Q30.

20% of 135 = (20/100) × 135 = (1/5) × 135 = 27
27 ÷ 3 = 9

Hence, discounted price of book = \$9

========

Trust this helps.

Cheers,
Edward
