 Test paper clarity

I find that some test papers are rather blur when being printed out. Is it something to do with the scan resolution? I mean I don't mind a bigger PDF file size rather than seeing my kids squinting their eyes trying to figure out some of the words.

Yes, that have to do with the scan resolution. It was scanned at a low resolution (maybe 100 dpi), it can also due to quality loss caused by the person copying the exam papers not copying from the original source. Just like people copying analogue tapes from one to the other, degradation happens then the quality is lowered.
