I felt that this answer can be either 7 & 8

1st pattern : +1, +2, +3 = 7 Stickers
2nd pattern : *2, *2, *2 = 8 Stickers

Am I right? Who can answer me?

Hi there,

I chanced upon yr question and I feel 7 is a better answer and definitely suits a P2 maturity level. Though, I agree that both 7 & 8 are possible answers.

Did you clarify with yr child's teacher. What is the feedback/ Hear from you!

Cheers

hi,

I guess the answer depends on the context, and what the teacher is trying to test the child on. If they have just completed instructions on multiplication by 2, then the answer is 8 -- they are to see the doubling.

However, the teacher should accept both 7 or 8, seeing that the question per se can be ambiguous. Maybe talk to the teacher.

this is my take on this
