The figure in attachment is made up of 3 circles with the same radius 10cm.
X, Y and Z are the centres of the circles respectively. For each of the following, use the calculator value of 'pi" to find.
(a) the perimeter if the shaded parts, correct to 2 decimal places. (Ans: 83.78cm)
(b) the area of the shaded parts, correct to 2 decimal places.(Ans: 209.44cm2)

I think you have missed out "pi" in the following statement (quoted from your question) :
For each of the following, use the calculator value of to find.
It should read as (if I am correct) :
For each of the following, use the calculator value of "pi" to find.

Pls note it will be better if you can also provide the Answerkey to your question , where applicable.
Kindly refer to the attached document for my worked solution, and do let me know again if this is different from your Answerkey or if there's further clarification.
