Please help with working solution.
Lillian , Siti and Janet shared $165. Lillian had $k more than Siti and twice as much money as Janet.
(a) How much in terms of k does Siti have?
(b) if k = $8, how much money does Siti have?

(answer key : (a) Siti 330-3k / 5 , (b) $61.20)

Lilian ----> $x + $k
Siti ----> $x
Janet ----> ($x + $k) / 2

(a) Lialin + Siti + Janet -----> $ 165
($x+$k) + $x + [ ($x+$k)/2] = $165
2$x + 2$k + 2$x + $x + $k = $330
5$x + 3$k = $330
$(5x + 3k) = $330
5x + 3k = 330
5x = 330 - 3k
x = (330 - 3k) / 5

(b) If k= $8, x = [330 - (3x8)] /5
x = (330 -24) / 5
x =$ 61.20

I hope my solution can help u.
