Need help on the attached questions:

Q9 - (a) is manageable. Would be great is someone can offer an explanation on the (b) of which the model answer provided is 390,000. My child's answer is 97,500.

Q13 - we got the answer for (a) 30cm but not (b) 56.25 litres.

Thanks.

I think I know how to solve part b of question 13.

Height of container X is unknown. But we know that after 20 mins, the container is 2/5 filled. And we have also
found out in part (a), that this volume is 750x (where x is the height).

But if we rest the container on its side and instead make the length (30cm) become the height instead, we can

Working :

2/5 of container = 750 * 30 (our new height)
So, full container = (750 * 30 * 5) / 2 = 56,250 cm3 = 56.25 litres
