If your child is not benefitting from his/her current tuition, or worse, if his/her grades have actually worsened, it's time to change the strategies (and tutors)!

Ace Academy's inquiry-based learning approach engages the students and enables them to understand fully and learn more effectively. We DON'T believe in rote learning and teach the students to be exam smart. That is no longer enough - look at last year's PSLE Science paper and the revised PSLE English format comes 2015.

Our philosophy of "Engaged Learners, Effective Learning" has produced outstanding results in the achievements of our students in 2013.

So as the students gear up for academic year 2014, give them an edge in their studies. Let us help them re-discover the joy of learning and show them how they can achieve good grades!

Lessons for Term 1 are starting soon. So ACT NOW!

A common question we get - how is INQUIRY-BASED LEARNING different from traditional instructional approaches. It looks like the current MOE learning approach is not well communicated to the public! javascript:emoticon('Big Grin'Wink

An old adage states:

Tell me and I forget,
Show me and I remember,
Involve me and I understand.

The last part - "Involve me and I understand" - is the essence of inquiry-based learning.

Traditional instructional approaches typically encourage rote learning and drilling; mainly the tell and show methods. These approaches have proven to be less effective in learning. Hence, the present push by MOE towards inquiry-based learning.

At Ace Academy, students are engaged and participate actively in the lessons, be it English, Science, Math or Chinese. This makes learning fun and facilitates comprehensive understanding of the topics being covered. This is the single most important reason why our students have achieved outstanding grades in their recent SA2 and PSLE.

With Ace Academy, you can be assured your child will understand the topics thoroughly, and enjoy learning them in the process.

Don't just take our word for it. If you like, we'll be happy to put you in touch with other parents whose kids have benefitted immensely from our teaching approach.

Lessons for Term 1 are starting this weekend. So call us now to register your child in our programmes!

It's Week 3 in the school. How's your child doing in his/her schoolwork?

If you think your child needs coaching in any of his/her subjects, come and talk to us TODAY and find out why our inquiry-based learning approach produces outstanding results for the students.

About 4 in 5 parents wished that they had sought help earlier to enable their children to do better academically. They had assumed that a child who scores 80% in a subject in P2 or P3 is doing well. Remember, scoring 80% means there's a 20% knowledge gap. And this knowledge gap will get wider as the child progresses up the different levels if something is not done to bridge the gap.

So don't procrastinate. Bridge the knowledge gap early with Ace Academy. You will be VERY VERY glad you did.

- Is your child struggling with his schoolwork?

- Does he/she find the topics and questions to be more challenging and difficult to comprehend?

- Does he/she need help to be fully prepared for the PSLE in less than 8 months?

If you answer “YES” to any of the above questions, it’s time to do something about it before it’s too late.

At Ace Academy, we help students bridge the knowledge gap effectively and quickly so that they can do well in tests and exams.

What is the “knowledge gap”? It is the contents of the syllabus that he/she doesn’t understand. If your child scores 70% for a certain subject last year, this means that he/she has a knowledge gap of 30%. This gap will widen as more topics and contents are covered because the subjects are built upon the knowledge acquired in the previous years.

Talk to us today to find out how we bridge your child’s knowledge gap, and how our inquiry-based learning approach is the better way for students to learn.

You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain, especially if your child’s doesn’t seem to be benefitting much from his/her current tuition!
