2. Three girls shared a basket of apples. the First girl took 1/2 of the basket of apples and 1 apple.
The second girl took 1/2 of the remaining basket of apples and 1 apple. The last girl took
3/4 of the remainder and there were 15 apples left in the basket.How many apples were
in the basket at first? ( ans. 246)

Hey <khaye>,

Following attachment is my worked solution for Q1. Kindly note the answer should be 45, and not 54, as stated in your post.

As both questions are similar in nature, do let me know if you are able to repeat the method for Q2 yourself.
