Hi anyone please help to solve this question

Henry painted 1/4 of a pole red and 1 2/3m of the pole blue.
The rest of the pole was not painted.
If the pole is 6m long, what was the length of the pole that was not painted?

How hard can it be??

1/4=3/12
2/3=8/12

(1-3/12 - 8/12)x6= 1/2 meters.
