1.In 2008,there were 882 pupils in Greenwood Primary school and 1/3 of them were girls.After merging with Blackforest Girls' School in 2009,3/4 of the pupils in the merged school are now girls.How many girls were from Blackforest Girls' School?

2.The number of marbles in BoxA,BoxB,Box C was 195.John added 60 marbles to those in Box A,doubled the number of marbles in Box B and halved the number of marbles in Box C.
The ratio of the number of marbles become 4:1:2.What is the total number of marbles in the three boxed now?

Can any one please help me to solve these problems .thanks a lot
