Hi everyone! I am stuck with this math question. May you help me?

The question is:

William had 30 green and red pens. 1/5 of them were green. He bought more green pens and the fraction of green pens increased to 2/5. How many green pens did he buy?

hihihi

30/5=6
6x4=24
there are 24 red pens.
24/3=8
8x2=16
16-6=10
he bought 10 green pens

Green-->1/5 x 30 = 6
Red ----> 30 - 6 = 24

Since red remained the same, then
2 units is green
3 units -----> 24 red pens
1 unit -------> 24/ 3 = 8
green-------> 2 x 8 = 16

bought ----> 16 - 6 = 10 more green pens.
